why people live where they do?

Natural factors:

  1. Climate - pleasant temperatures, humidity, rainfall, 
  2. Relief - the height and the shape of the land
  3. Resources - basic needs of food and water, fertile areas to grow crops,
Human factors:
  1. Economy - earn money, jobs
  2. Political decisions -

    Mumbai is the most populous city in India, and the fourth most populous city in the world, with a total metropolitan area population of approximately 23.9  million.
    Urbanization is a population shift from rural to urban areas, "the gradual increase in the proportion of people living in urban areas", and the ways in which each society adapts to the change
